Getting Started

• You must have a Discogs account to list items for sale. Registering is free and easy. You can register at http://www.discogs.com/users/create.
• Only releases in the database can be sold on Discogs. If the item you want to sell isn’t in the database yet, you can submit the release.

Step 1: Find what you want to sell

• Use the search field, at the top of the home page, to find the specific release in the database that matches the item you want to sell.
• Always check to make sure the cat# on the release page matches the item you are listing for sell.

Step 2: Listing your item

It’s free to list your items for sale. Discogs charges a 5% commission, based on the selling price, for each item sold through the Marketplace. Passing this fee to the buyer is not permitted.

1. Click the “sell this item” link, located on the right hand side of the release page
^{The first time you list an item for sale you will need to enter your shipping and payment information}

2. Select the correct options to describe the condition of the item you are selling and enter the price you would like to sell it for:

1. Item Condition – please review the goldmine grading standards.
2. Sleeve Condition – this field is optional.
3. Comments – add a short description to better describe the condition of your item.
4. Price – the price of the item will always be in your default currency.

3. Click the “next” button to preview.

4. Click the “list item for sale” button to make your item available for purchase.

Note: There is a 5 minute delay before your item becomes viewable in the Marketplace.
